The help wanted ads of 2012 will have a scant resemblance to today’s classifieds. Job titles more common in sci-fi novels such as space tour guide and molecular engineer will soon become common place.

On Wednesday, September 26, 2007 school districts across the state will participate in Maine Harvest Lunch-- a day to celebrate the bounty of Maine’s harvest by featuring local foods on the school menu. Many resources are available to make this not only a tasty, but also an educational and community-building event.

(as sent to Steve MacDougal)
Hi Steve,
Just thought that I would share a picture of an event that occurred this past Sunday. Four years ago Hall-Dale graduated and sent 5 students to the same college, Clark University. Well all five graduated this past weekend and they are from right to left: Elizabeth Todd, Shaina Chastain Katz, Sara Rau, Neal Waters, and Joe Fortier.
The interesting and noteworthy item in the picture is that they all are wearing the gold rope signifying graduation with honors. Even more interesting is that all five graduate Magna Cum Laude. Hall-Dale did a wonderful job in preparing these students and should be proud.
