The Great Wall of China
Objective: To improve dodging skills, cardiovascular endurance.
Students try to move from one end line to the other. On the center court line there is one or two students. This student(s) is the “Emperor”, who must stay on the black center line. Their job is to protect the “Great Wall” by tagging any student who tries to get by. If a student is tagged by the Emperor, (s)he must join them on the Great Wall. Once there are more than five students on the line, the Emperor chooses people from the Great Wall to start a new “village” on another line in the gym. Now, if a student gets tagged by a villager, they must join them on the new line.
