The Hall-Dale Curriculum framework is not actually part of the district Local Assessment System (LAS). The framework is rather a precursor document to the formal instructional, graduation and assessment systems specified in Chapter 127 of the Maine Department of Education's regulations or rules. Maine agency rules are an interpretation and more detailed implementation of Maine Statutes by the particular Maine agency or Bureau. Rule or Chapter 127 is entitled Instructional Program, Assessment and Diploma Requirements. The Maine Department of Education rules are available on the WWWeb at

This curriculum framework is made available to the MSAD#16 staff and community in order to serve as reference and to provide helpful curriculum related standards and documentation that can be transferred to the district LAS where appropriate.
The HTML framework main documents are in 3 columns. Read all columns top to bottom starting with the left-most column, then the middle, then the right.
